Robin is the Owner and Principal Interior Designer for Robin Crowl Designs. An east coast native, she was born in Washington DC and grew up just across the Potomac River in Alexandria, Virginia. She attributes her design affinity to her Mother and Grandmother’s timeless interior style. Working for her Grandmother’s antique business also provided much insight into art and furnishing styles. After graduating from the University of Richmond with a business degree, she became a CPA and worked in Corporate Accounting. This practical part of her career developed business acumen, attention to detail and included travel to inspiring places in the USA and abroad.
Robin made several relocations with her family, from Virginia to Shaker Heights, Ohio, then back East to her current residence in Moorestown, New Jersey, a suburb of Philadelphia.
It was at this time that she decided to transition her interests into a design business. With each family move, she gained extensive experience with renovations, large and small, new construction, spatial planning, and home decoration. To formalize her skills, she completed the comprehensive Interior Design studies program at Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia.
Robin has explored and experienced varied home environments which combine beauty and functionality based on different phases of life. She applies practical experience with formal training to achieve her clients’ goals for their living spaces.
